Welcome to Llanfihangel.net

Llanfihangel.net is a not for profit  business providing a broadband service covering the area around Llanfihangel yng Ngwynfa near Llanfyllin in Mid Wales, UK.  The area is too far from the local telephone exchange to get broadband via the telephone lines.  We use a series of wireless links to transmit the service from the nearby villages of Meifod and Llanwddyn and to distribute it around the area.

The cost of setting up the service is currently £495 per household and the monthly service charge is £10.  Additional households can be added to the system if they have line of sight to any property on the network.
